How To Make Air Fryer Roasted Potato Wedges:

Potato wedges in an air fryer.
    • Using an oil sprayer, lightly spray the air fryer basket with avocado or olive oil.
    • Place the potato wedges on their side in the basket, leaving a little space between each wedge.
    • Lightly spray the potatoes with oil and season with salt and a bit of pepper.
    • Cook at 400°F for 5 minutes. Turn them over to the other side and lightly spray them with oil again, and a bit more seasoning with salt and pepper.

    • Cook for another 7 minutes. Check for doneness.

If you want them crispier, turn them onto their back (skin side), lightly spray again, and cook for 2-3 more minutes.

And just like that, they’re all done and ready to be served.

Tips for Using an Air Fryer:

    • My number one tip for using the air fryer would be not to overcrowd the food in the air fryer basket. The food will cook faster and more evenly when there’s room for the heat to circulate.
    • Use an oil sprayer to lightly coat your food with an oil that has a high smoke point, like avocado or olive oil. You may need to mist your food a couple of times throughout the cooking process, especially areas that may look dry.
    • Lightly pepper your food on top once you put it in the air fryer. When it comes time to turn your food halfway through cooking, you’ll be able to easily tell which pieces have been turned.
