Homemade dairy-free ranch dip served with tomatoes, carrots, and peppers.

This homemade dairy-free ranch dressing and dip is so tasty and you’ll love how easy it is to make. It has just the right amount of dill, parsley, and other spices. I love dipping my Gluten-Free Chicken Nuggets and Air-Fried Potato Wedges in this dip. Also, this dip goes perfectly with Gluten-Free Chicken Taco Salad.

Ideas for serving

There are so many vegetables and recipes that go great with ranch dressing besides just salads. Here are a few of my favorite vegetables to eat with ranch: fresh broccoli, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Favorite cooked vegetables to serve with ranch dressing are Air Fryer Broccoli, Air Fryer Radish Chips, Air Fried Baby Carrots, and Air-Fried Baby Potatoes. Oh, and these Taco Chicken Tenders go perfectly with this ranch dressing.

This recipe can also be made vegan depending on your choice of mayo.

Does ranch have dairy?

Almost all ranch dressings and dips that you can buy at the grocery store do contain dairy. There are a few brands that are dairy-free but it seems the prices of those are always priced higher.

Does ranch have gluten?

Most store-bought versions of ranch do contain gluten. Wheat is often used as a thickener in them. There are a few brands that are gluten-free but they are sometimes hard to find and always read the labels carefully.

Made the dip version this NYE and have to say best nondairy ranch I’ve ever had. Made it with vegan mayo. So glad I get to start the new year with this ranch…my ranch tooth is happy!!!

We just recently went dairy free in our family and I wanted to find a good recipe for ranch because a couple of my boys love it with their veggies. This is great! We brought it to a family gathering and those who tried it said they liked it better than store bought ranch. Thank you!
