How To Make Homemade Strawberry Banana Yogurt Popsicles:

Making popsicles with strawberries, banana, dairy-free yogurt in a Vitamix blender.Place yogurt, strawberries, and bananas in a blender and blend until smooth.

Strawberries, bananas, and dairy-free yogurt in a Vitamix blender.Taste test and see if you want it any sweeter. If the strawberries aren’t super sweet it may need a little. Add sweetener to the blender if desired and blend again for 20-30 seconds to incorporate it into the mixture.

Homemade strawberry popsicles in a popsicle mold.

Pour mixture into the popsicle molds. Snap on the tops. Freeze for at least 4 hours. The popsicle molds that I use are Trovolo Popsicle Molds. They’re nice and sturdy and I like that the top has a drip guard.

After they have frozen remove the popsicle from the freezer and run warm water over the mold for several seconds until it can easily be removed. Enjoy!

How To Store Homemade Popsicles:

To store: Popsicles can be left in the molds in the freezer or you can run warm water over each mold to remove the popsicle and then wrap each popsicle with plastic wrap. Place them in a gallon-sized freezer bag for storing in the freezer. This makes it a little easier to get one of out of the freezer so you don’t have to run them under warm water each time.

The Cute Story of How the Popsicles Company Started:

Back in 1905, there was a young boy who had left his cup of soda out overnight on the porch and it froze. He had a stirring stick in the cup so he was able to pull it out of the cup and enjoy his frozen pop. He would make them for his friends and family and finally in 1923, he patented his popsicles with the name his kids gave it. It was a cross between Pop’s and icicles. It’s such a cute idea that it was a kid who started this craze of popsicles. Don’t you feel like a kid when you eat one?
