You’ll be able to have a hearty and savory supper in just minutes with this easy Cabbage and Sausage Recipe made in an Instant Pot.

With this sausage and cabbage recipe, I use a bag of coleslaw instead of a head of cabbage to make it extra simple. Simple ingredients:
- 16 oz package smoked sausage, gluten-free
- 4 russet potatoes
- 16 oz. bag of coleslaw
- 2 cups chicken broth, gluten-free
- 1 medium onion
- 4 oz can of diced chiles
- 1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt, gluten-free (My favorite is Herbamare)
Instructions
- Slice smoked sausage into bite-size pieces.
- Peel and dice potatoes into 1-inch cubes.
- Dice onion.

- Place chicken broth, cut-up smoked sausage, potatoes, onions, a can of chopped chiles, and seasoned salt into the Instant Pot, and then top with the bag of coleslaw.

- Seal the lid on theย Instant Potย and close the vent. Set the manual setting for 3 minutes.
- After cooking, do a quick release with the valve and then remove the lid. Stir to combine and serve.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
