This simple fruit salad uses only four different fruits and is combined with a yogurt sauce made with dairy-free yogurt and honey. You’ll love how easy this fruit salad is to make and you can add or exchange any of the fruit to suit your family’s taste.
Fresh Fruit Salad Ingredients:
1 lb strawberries, quartered
1 pint of blueberries
2 cups grapes, cut in half
3 bananas, sliced
one-half lemon squeezed
1 1/2 cups dairy-free yogurt*
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla, optional
*Dairy-free yogurt that I used was So Delicious Dairy-Free Coconut Milk Yogurt (unsweetened vanilla)
How to Make Easy Fruit Salad:
Mix all the prepared fruit in a large mixing bowl.
Drizzle the juice of half a lemon over the fruit.
In a small bowl mix the yogurt, honey, and vanilla (optional). Add the yogurt mixture to the fruit and mix until combined. Can be served immediately.
Serving Tips: Save adding the bananas and yogurt sauce until right before serving. This is still good the next couple of days but isn’t as pretty as the first day.
