    Dairy-Free Hot Chocolate Mix (3 Ingredients)

    This dairy-free hot chocolate mix is simple to make and comes together with just three ingredients. It makes enjoying a warm mug of hot chocolate quick and easy by simply heating up your choice of milk and stirring in this mix. It’s comforting, warming, and perfect for chilly days. Best of all, this mix is gluten-free and dairy-free, so everyone can enjoy it.

    How to make the hot chocolate mix

    Add all ingredients to a food processor and process for a couple of minutes until smooth.

    Transfer the mix to a sealed glass jar and store at room temperature.

    To make hot chocolate: heat ¼ cup of the mix with 1 cup of your choice of milk, stirring until smooth and warmed through.

    To make hot chocolate for a crowd, combine the entire hot chocolate mix with 8 cups of milk in a slow cooker and cook on low for 2-3 hours. Stir the mixture every 30 minutes, and then switch to the warm setting. If you want it faster, you can heat it on the stovetop, then transfer it into a slow cooker and put it on the warm setting. Stir occasionally to keep fully combined.

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • ¾ cup of cocoa powder
    • ¾ cup of granulated sugar
    • 9 oz bag of Enjoy Life Mini Chocolate Chips


    Instructions

    1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and process for 1-2 minutes until blended and smooth.
    2. Store in a glass sealed jar at room temperature.
    3. To make hot chocolate: Heat ¼ cup of the mix with 1 cup of your choice of milk, stirring until smooth and warmed through.
    4. To make hot chocolate for a crowd:  Combine the entire hot chocolate mix  (2 cups) with 8 cups of milk in a slow cooker and cook on low for 2-4 hours. Stir the mixture every 30-45 minutes. Once heated through, turn the setting to warm for serving. Stir occasionally to keep the mixture combined.
    5. If you want it faster, you can heat it on the stovetop and then transfer it into a slow cooker set to warm.
