Description

This dairy-free hot chocolate mix uses just three ingredients and is rich, cozy, and gluten-free. Great for quick mugs or serving a crowd.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¾ cup of cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup of granulated sugar
  • 9 oz bag of Enjoy Life Mini Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a food processor and process for 1-2 minutes until blended and smooth.
  2. Store in a glass sealed jar at room temperature.
  3. To make hot chocolate: Heat ¼ cup of the mix with 1 cup of your choice of milk, stirring until smooth and warmed through.
  4. To make hot chocolate for a crowd:  Combine the entire hot chocolate mix  (2 cups) with 8 cups of milk in a slow cooker and cook on low for 2-4 hours. Stir the mixture every 30-45 minutes. Once heated through, turn the setting to warm for serving. Stir occasionally to keep the mixture combined.
  5. If you want it faster, you can heat it on the stovetop and then transfer it into a slow cooker set to warm.
