Ingredients
This tasty dish only requires five ingredients. The three ingredients you need to ensure are gluten-free are beans, smoked sausage, and ketchup.
I love that Randall’s Great Northern Beans are gluten-free, as that’s the brand my mom used when I was little. When you switch to eating gluten-free, it’s nice not to have to change everything!

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°. Set a strainer in the sink, pour the beans into it, and let them drain while preparing the other ingredients.

Cut the smoked sausage into shorter pieces, then slice into quarters lengthwise and into 1/2-inch slices. Place in a large mixing bowl.

Chop the onion and add to the bowl.
Add the drained beans, ketchup, and brown sugar to the bowl and mix them all together.
Place mixture into a 2 or 3-quart baking dish and cover it with foil. Bake for 1 hour.
Crockpot instructions for baked beans: Place in crockpot and cook on low for 3-4 hours.

Place all ingredients in the crockpot and stir, then put the lid on and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
