Description

Make your own Gluten-Free Coney Dogs (Spanish Hot Dogs) at home with this easy and tasty recipe.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder (gluten-free)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¾ cup ketchup (gluten-free)

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a large skillet. Drain off any grease.
  2. Add the chopped onion, chili powder, brown sugar, and ketchup to the skillet and mix together with the ground beef. Heat over medium heat until heated through.
  3. Serve over warmed hot dogs on gluten-free buns.
  4. For traditional Coney Dogs, top with chopped onions and mustard.

Notes

Tip: If you find the hot dogs buns are too thick take a serrated knife and cut out some of the insides of the bun.
