Strawberries and lime complement each other in a delightful way in this slushy drink. You may have had a version of this at a drive-thru made with regular sugar-filled soda, but this healthy version is full of fruit and sweetened with only stevia.

If you want to make this a full snack add in the collagen for a nice serving of protein. Trim Healthy Mama Integral Collagen or Custom Collagen are my favorites.

Trim Healthy Mamas this is an FP.

    What makes this an E?

  2. Tenessa

I thought the berries make it a few. Berries are good in all meals, right? I’m thinking that this is a fp.

Hi Tenessa, I’m not sure what I was thinking when I posted this, but you are right! It’s an FP and I went in to change it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

I was curious, so I looked it up, and per the Fuel Pull chapter you can have up to 1 cup of (non-blue)berries and stay within FP. So, yeah, if you were having it with a snack that had some carbs, you’d be in E territory, but by itself with some collagen or a no-carb FP snack, you’re still in FP even with half the recipe 🙂

Hi Ally, thanks for bringing this to my attention. Yes, you are right! I’m not sure what I was thinking, but I do need to change this. Thanks again!

My husband gave me a Ninja blender for my birthday and this was the perfect first recipe for it! I’ve been eating too much ice cream at night (pregnancy cravings) so this will be a great alternative. I did find I like a couple extra tablespoons of lime juice in mine. : ) Thank you for sharing!

So glad that you are enjoying this! And congratulations on your new blessing!
