Raspberry Good Girl Moonshine. One of our family’s favorite flavors of Good Girl Moonshine. The zing comes from ACV, not real moonshine. THM-Sipper drink.

This is the most popular drink I make in our house. If I ask if anyone in my family if they want a Raspberry Good Girl Moonshine, everyone answers with a YES! It is such a refreshing and fun drink and so good for you. However, everyone likes them just a little bit different – maybe a little more apple cider vinegar for one or a little less ginger for another, so I came up with an easy way to make them to everyone’s liking.
Tips and tricks to making Raspberry Good Girl Moonshine:
- Put a different colored rubberband around each glass and remember who has what color. Don’t forget this step like I did for the above pictures or you might have to taste test each one to see whose is whose.
- Use raw apple cider vinegar “with the mother” like Bragg’s Organic ACV. You should be able to find it in your local grocery store.
- If you aren’t sure if you like the taste of ginger just put a few shakes of powdered ginger in your drink and then slowly adjust it over time to get up to a teaspoon of it in your drink.
- Put apple cider vinegar, sweetener, and ginger in each jar.
- Blend 1 tablespoon of raspberries for each person along with a cup of water. Blend until berries are smooth.
- Pour equal amounts of the blended raspberries into each jar.
- Top off each jar with water or water and ice and stir.
- You can use straws to make them more festive and to keep the apple cider vinegar from getting on your teeth too much. Our favorite straws are metal straws or these plastic straws shown in the picture. The metal straws come with a wire cleaner, but for the plastic straws I use this straw cleaner.
- If you really want to kick this up a notch you can use carbonated water in place of regular water.

I didn’t have much success with GGM the first time I tried it. I guess I put too much ginger. 🙂 I’ll have to give it second chance and play around with the flavor. Raspberry sounds so good!
I can’t wait to hear your THM story! When do you think you’ll post it?
MamaShire
Yes, give it another chance! My story is coming. Soon. Obviously, I am a procrastinator. ha.

Could you substitute frozen blackberries?
MamaShire
Hi Riley, yes. Any type of berry would be good. They are low in carbs!
Jennifer
Why do you not want ACV on your teeth??
MamaShire
Hi Jennifer, ACV can actually help whiten your teeth, but it can also eat away at your tooth enamel. So after using it to whiten your teeth you should brush your teeth with toothpaste or rinse really well after using it.
Drinking a sipper like this throughout the day may end up hurting your enamel. So if you use a straw it will help bypass your teeth more.

I’m not a big fan of the GGMS, but I’m willing to give it another try…with a raspberry twist! Yum!
MamaShire
I think you’ll like it. Raspberries make it all wonderful. 🙂
sherry
Where do you get your powdered ginger?
MamaShire
Hi Sherry! I will either buy it locally in the spice section of our grocery store or I’ll buy it in bulk from Mountain Rose Herbs or Bulk Herb Store.
Kathy
Is this a FP? All day sipper?
MamaShire
This is an all-day sipper. No macro-nutrients. 🙂

I just tried this and just used 1T of vinegar. I did have to use two packets of stevia. I don’t taste the ginger so I’ll add more next time.
I gave some to my 88 yr old Mom with just 1 Stevia packet she made the funniest face. I put in another pkt and told her it’s supposed to be sweet – sour and she was happy with it this time. LOL
MamaShire
That’s funny! I’m glad she liked it better. 🙂

I love GGMS. I use grated ginger in mine. I love the taste of ginger so I use a rounded tablespoon. I add 3 tablespoons of ACV and 5 pkts of Stevia. Fill Qt jar with water and mix well. Pour over ice and enjoy.
Becca
Could I use fresh ginger instead of powdered?
MamaShire
Definitely! You can grate it or put it in a blender with water and then freeze it in an ice cube tray and just add the ginger ice cubes to your drink.
Nancy
Can I substitute honey for the stevia?
MamaShire
If you’re following Trim Healthy Mama that would be off-plan. But if you aren’t then yes you can. I haven’t made it with honey so I don’t have a suggested amount.
