Need a quick and yummy gluten-free treat? Something sweet and salty? And not complicated at all? These gluten-free pretzel rods with icing are the answer! You’ll be able to quickly make these with just two simple ingredients and they’re dairy-free. Let me show you how to quickly make these delicious treats.
How to Make Gluten-Free Pretzel Rods with Icing:
These are the two ingredients needed for these yummy icing covered gluten-free pretzels. A bag of Snyder’s of Hanover Gluten-Free Pretzel Rods and a can of Pillsbury Funfetti Vanilla Icing.
Put all of the icing into a medium-sized pan and place on low heat. Stir frequently as the icing melts and this takes just a few minutes. Once it’s all soft and melted remove from the heat.
Place a large piece of parchment paper on the counter and then start dipping the pretzel rods into the icing. Use a spatula to help spread the icing while twirling the pretzel. Cover around 3/4ths of the pretzel with icing. Place on the parchment paper and then immediately sprinkle with the sprinkles. Repeat for each pretzel. Let them sit for 15 minutes or so to let the icing set.
These are best served the same day as making them. But leftovers are okay too, they’re just best the same day. Cover any leftover with plastic wrap or place in a plastic baggie.
Once these are made and the icing has set you can serve them standing up in little glass jars or on a platter. Either way, they look very festive.
