- 1 cup dairy-free butter, softened
- 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons almond milk
Instructions
- Take dairy-free butter out of the refrigerator and place it on the counter for about 30 minutes before making the frosting so that it can soften.
- Place softened butter in a medium to large bowl and using a hand mixer, whip the butter for 2 minutes on low-medium speed.
- Then add in the rest of the ingredients and mix on low until mostly combined and then on medium until completely combined and smooth. Scrape down sides as needed.
