Description

Easy fried potatoes made in the air fryer. Recipe is for 1 serving but you can double or triple the recipe depending on the size of your air fryer.


Ingredients

Scale

1 russet potato
1/4 cup sliced onions (optional)

avocado or olive oil in an oil sprayer
salt and pepper


Instructions

Take a russet potato and wash and dry it. Cut it into 1/4-inch slices.

Spray the basket of your air fryer with a little bit of avocado or olive oil. 

Place the potato slices in the air fryer basket and spread them out. Spritz with just a little oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Cook at 400° for 5 minutes. Lightly spritz the potatoes again and then turn them over*. Spritz again with oil and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove any that look done and cook for another 2 minutes.

*If you want to add in some sliced onions add them when you turn the potatoes over.



Notes

*If you double or triple the recipe you may need to add an extra minute or two to the cooking time if your potatoes are a little crowded.
